Yay finally someone who gets the importance of problem solving skills!

Basically, if you are a dev, and you can't think for yourself how do you expect to know when to apply algorithms?

I kind of agree on section 5. Too many devs are rigid and only see code as a single solution. However, I'm finding somewhat often that optimization is not worth the time. Most of the time, the code is "good enough" and its more practical to move on. Coding is a continuous process of evaluating what "works" and what doesn't.
