Teams have a bad habit of classifying people as "amateurs" usually because the new guy lacks their exact experience.

Just because some dev is weak in one area of programming doesn't mean they know nothing at all.

Unfortunately, this is a common pattern of behavior in the programming world. Many senior devs are just as condescending and rude as the young guys are arrogant.

I also don't think there is anything we can do about this problem because it is humans just being humans.
